The United States conducts its first dual review of aluminum foil

On March 1, 2023, the United States Department of Commerce announced the first anti-dumping and countervailing review of aluminum foil imported from China. At the same time, the United States International Trade Commission (ITC) conducted its first anti-dumping and countervailing investigation into aluminum foil imported from China. 3. Consider whether significant harm caused by imported products to domestic industries in the United States will continue or recur within a reasonably foreseeable period of time if anti-dumping measures are lifted. Interested parties must register with the United States Department of Commerce within 10 days after the publication of this announcement. Relevant parties must submit their responses to the United States International Trade Commission before March 31, 2023, and comment on the adequacy of their responses before March 11, 2023.

On March 28, 2017, the United States Department of Commerce announced an anti-dumping and countervailing investigation against the import of aluminum foil from China. On February 27, 2018, the United States Department of Commerce announced the final affirmative decision to take anti-dumping and countervailing measures against the import of aluminum foil from China.
